How does FireIce® work?
When FireIce® is added to water, it absorbs the water in great volumes and becomes a fire suppression gel. It actually smothers the fire and because it creates a protective barrier around the burned area, the fire will not re-ignite.

Is FireIce® safe for the environment?
Yes, FireIce® is non-corrosive, non-toxic and biodegradable. In all applications, FireIce® can be flushed with water and will harmlessly dissolve into the ground and enhance new tree and brush growth in burnt areas.

Where can you use FireIce®?
FireIce® can be used against structure fires, wildfires, and brush fires. It can stop the flames, and in the case of wildfires, can be used to create a fire break by spraying FireIce® on vegetation in the path of the fire.

Can FireIce® be mixed directly in pumper trucks without damaging the pump systems?
Yes. FireIce® is the only product in the world today that will not clog or leave any residue behind.

Where do firefighters use FireIce®?
FireIce®, in very specific quantities, can be added to large pumper trucks, to the firefighters’ water canisters, to crop dusters’ reservoirs and to plane reservoirs that are used to fight wildfires and brushfires, fires that are often deadly. Because it is a fine powder before it is added to water, it can quickly be incorporated into the water for fast response uses.

What happens to the FireIce® after the fire?
The FireIce® that is applied to the fire will help keep the structure or vegetation from re-igniting.

The FireIce® used in the pumpers, tanks and reservoirs can easily be removed by flushing out the containers with water.

How is FireIce® removed once it is applied to a house for wildfire preotection?
Simply wash off with water.

Is FireIce® expensive?
No. FireIce® only costs a fraction of the price of all other fire retardents currently on the market today.

How long will FireIce® last in a gel state?
For years as long as it is in a sealed container and protected from the suns UV rays.
